Shared Steps Terms Of Use

Welcome to Shared Steps Ltd! We are committed to providing neurodivergent job coaching, interview buddying, travel buddying and independent advocacy services that empower individuals and foster inclusivity. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before engaging with our services.

1. Scope of Services

We provide coaching including searching for and applying for work as a neurodivergent individual, CV writing, interview buddies, travel buddies, settling in at work visits, confidence building, self-advocacy etc and independent support advocacy tailored to the needs of neurodivergent individuals. This may include career guidance, workplace accommodations, self-advocacy training, and support in navigating employment-related challenges. We also provide independent support advocacy to parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people which is NON clinical and NON legal.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and above, and for children and young people's PARENTS AND CARERS. By engaging with our service, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria.

3. Confidentiality & Privacy

We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Any personal information shared with us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

4. Client Responsibilities

Engage in sessions with an open mind and willingness to participate.
Provide accurate and honest information to help us support you effectively.
Respect the boundaries and policies set by Shared Steps Ltd.
Treat Shared Steps employees with respect at all times.
Pay for our services as outlined, in full.

5. Payment & Fees

Our services may be offered on a paid or free basis (e.g initial free consultation), depending on the agreement.
Fees, payment terms, and cancellation policies are outlined in our separate pricing document inside individual plan booking platforms.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

We strive to provide valuable guidance but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
We are not responsible for employment decisions made by third parties.
Advice given does not replace legal, medical, or financial consultation.
Shared Steps Ltd are not liable for costs incurred to clients through travel, interview related costs and starting employment costs.

7. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to discontinue services if a client violates these terms, engages in inappropriate behavior, or fails to comply with agreed-upon policies. Clients may also discontinue services at any time, in line with payment policies and non refundable deposits.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as necessary. Clients will be informed of any significant changes. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance.
